The Development Department of Eagleville Hospital oversees the process of soliciting contributions in support of Eagleville Hospital and Riverside Care, Inc. Taken from the Eagleville Hospital 2005 Annual Report “As the need for behavioral health treatment continues to rise, Eagleville Hospital and its sister agency, Riverside Care, Inc., have become increasingly recognized as leaders in the field. During fiscal year 2005, our facilities served more than 6,000 individuals, reinforcing their reputations as important providers of high quality care.” “Our patient base increased dramatically. We experienced a 34 percent increase in admissions outside our home region, expanding our service area into the Lehigh Valley, Pocono region, and parts of northern New Jersey. Overall, admissions increased 24 percent compared with the prior year.” “Eagleville responded to community demand by increasing the number of non-hospital short term and detoxification beds. Our hospital and non-hospital dual diagnosis programs (co-occurring mental illness, physical illness and addiction) experienced 90 percent occupancy. Demand for high quality treatment that addresses physical, mental, educational and vocational needs of patients will undoubtedly lead to further expansion of services offered by Eagleville Hospital and Riverside Care, Inc.” “The work of Eagleville Hospital and Riverside Care, Inc. will continue to take us farther into the communities that surround us.
